ABS-CBN 2: The Voice of the Philippines
The Voice of the Philippines is an upcoming reality television singing competition of the ABS-CBN. The show will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Robi Domingo, and Alex Gonzaga. Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo Mañalac, Lea Salonga, and Apl.de.Ap will serve as the four coaches and the judging panel of the show.
The first season is set to premiere on June 15, 2013. Prior to the premier, the show will have a primer called Mic Test: The Voice of the Philippines Primer and will air at 8:15 PM (PST) on June 9, 2013.
It is the fourth national franchise in the Southeast Asian region after Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.
The season ended on September 29 and Mitoy Yonting of Team Lea proclaimed winner with Klarisse de Guzman of Team Sarah as runner up.
