ABS-CBN 2: The Singing Bee

The popular singing bee is back for its 6th season on November 23, 2013 with the brand new hosts, Amy Perez and Roderick Paulate right after It's Showtime.

The Philippine version of The Singing Bee premiered April 21, 2008 on ABS-CBN. A combinination of karaoke singing and a spelling bee-style competition, this show features contestants trying to remember the lyrics to popular songs.

In each episode, six contestants will be selected from the audience to play a series of games that test their knowledge of song lyrics. If a contestant makes an error, he or she will forfeit her chance to get into the "musical chairs". If a contestant is not in a musical chair when the round is over, he or she is eliminated. The grand prize is P1,000,000. The house band, Bandble Bee, is led by Mel Villena, with several house singers called The Songbees. Dancing to the band are the house dancers, The Honeybees. The last 5 seasons was hosted by Cesar Montano.

ABS-CBN 2: Honesto

Honesto is a fantasy-drama starring Raikko Mateo in his debut role as Honesto, a young boy whose nose gets big whenever he lies. The series premiered on October 28, 2013 on ABS-CBN and worldwide on TFC on October 29, 2013, succeeding Juan dela Cruz.

ETC: Top Model Philippines

Top Model Philippines is an exciting reality competition following its popular US format, America’s Next Top Model. Coming soon on ETC.

On October 28, 2012, ETC announced a second local Top Model adaptation, called Top Model Philippines. Model Sarah Meier-Albano would be the host and head judge, model-turned-photographer Sean Armenta would serve as the resident photographer and judge, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo would be the model mentor and would also sit as a judge. Former America's Next Top Model producer Michael Carandang was announced as the Creative Director for photo shoots. The international destination for the first cycle would be London.

On June 7, 2013, Wilson Tieng, President of Solar Entertainment Corp. announced that the production of the show was suspended until further notice citing delays and timing concerns that prompted the management to cancel all auditions.
